The M4300 is the world's first versatile stackable solution designed for server access, SMB core and Professional AV-over-IP deployments. The M4300 series can scale from 24 x 1G to 96 x 10G and up to 8 switches per stack. Non-stop forwarding, spine and leaf, edge-to-core connectivity for converged AV and IT networks.

Half width for easy pairing in the rack

The M4300-16X half-width switch offers 10GBASE-T with 16 ports and PoE+ capability. All (16) 10G ports are backward compatible (100M / 1G / 2.5G / 5G) for gradual transition to 10G speeds. For redundant top-of-rack and active-active server deployments, two half-width M4300 10GbE models can be paired in a single rack. 10 Gigabit models can be seamlessly stacked with 1 Gigabit models, enabling line-based spine and leaf topologies.

Moudular APS600W power supply unit

The XSM4316PB version comes with an APS600W power supply for PoE applications (500W PoE budget - full deployment).

Layer L2 / L3 / L4

With a 320 Gbps non-blocking fabric, the M4300-16X provides comprehensive L2/L3/L4 and IPv4/IPv6 services for server/storage connections, SMB core applications and professional AV-over-IP installations (SDVoE certified). Virtual Chassis Stacking provides Non-Stop Forwarding (NSF) and hitless failover for highest availability (HA). Layer 3 features include static, policy-based and dynamic routing with RIP, VRRP, OSPF and PIM.
